(Reuters] – Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Neel Kaschkari stated Thursday that he “dramatically” changed his perception of inflation over six months. This includes seven quarter-point rate hikes for this year, to try and rein it in.
Kashkari stated that “We have to adjust” because the inflation isn’t as short-term as he thought. “The data keep coming in that direction and we have to adjust,” Kashkari said.
