France’s Macron says up to Renault whether it stays in Russia -Breaking

BRUSSELS, (Reuters) – President Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday that he respects French automaker Renault (PA) The company decided to shut down its Moscow plant and left it up to businesses to decide if they wish to continue in Russia, even if sanctions had not been imposed on their industry.

Macron, speaking to journalists following a G7/NATO conference, said that companies could be “reputationally at risk” if they decide to stay.
