Marvel NFT partner Veve closes its marketplace after an in-app token exploit -Breaking

Veve is a platform that sells non-fungible tokens (NFT) and licensed digital collectibles. On Tuesday there was an exploit which resulted illegally in the acquisition of millions of gems (inapp tokens). It is extremely popular among major brands. Such as Marvel, Pixar and Coca-Cola, which chose Veveals their official launch sponsor.

In an official tweet published on Wednesday, Veve acknowledged the exploit on its platform and said that the attackers managed to acquire a “large amount” of gems illegitimately. The marketplace and gems purchasing option on the app-based NFT platform have been closed until further investigation.
