Trip.com ADR reported that Wednesday’s fourth quarter exceeded analysts’ expectations and generated revenue above all estimates.

Trip.com ADR declared earnings per share (EPS) of 0.48 on revenues of 4.68B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at -0.5753 for revenue of 4.26B.

Trip.com ADR shares have fallen 2% since the start of the year. However, they are still 42.86% below its 52-week high of 42.04 on June 1, 2021. They have outperformed the Nasdaq by 11.01%, since its beginning.

Trip.com follows major consumer discretionary sector earnings in this month’s ADR

Trip.com ADR reports on an earnings beat by Alibaba ADR, who reported EPS 16.87 on revenue 242.58B. This compares to the forecasts EPS 15.93 on revenue 246.3B.

Nike exceeded expectations with EPS 0.87 for third quarter revenue of 10.87B. That compares to EPS forecasted at EPS 0.7158 and 10.63B.
