(Reuters] Uber Technologies Inc. has signed a deal to allow all New York City taxis to be displayed on its app. It could assist in overcoming a lack of drivers in New York City, which is one of the largest markets for ride-hailing companies.

Creative Mobile Technologies made the announcement. Curb is a ride-hailing app that allows licensed taxis to hail and hire cars in North America.

According to the Wall Street Journal, passengers will be charged roughly the same amount for Uber (NYSE.) X taxis.

Uber’s shares had been 5% higher prior to the bell. Reuters requested comment but Uber did not immediately reply.
