Virginia Thomas, wife to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas sent a series of texts to Mark Meadows in 2020 urging him to reverse President Joe Biden’s win. This was confirmed by NBC News by a source familiar with the investigation.

This news was reported for the first time by the Washington Post/CBS NewsAnd CNN.

The Washington Post/CBS News obtained 29 texts messages from CNN that show a frenetic dialogue between Thomas (a conservative activist who goes under Ginni) and the White House’s top aide after Trump’s defeat.

After news outlets projected Biden the winner of the 2020 election, Thomas on Nov. 10 reportedly wrote Meadows: “Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!…You, along with him, are standing up for America’s constitutional governance on the brink. Most people know that Biden is the Left’s greatest Heist in History.

Meadows sent Thomas a text on Nov. 24: “This fight is between good and evil… Until the King of Kings wins, evil always appears like the victor. Don’t let your efforts be discouraged. Continue fighting. It is the reason I’ve staked my entire career. At least, it’s what I’ve staked my career on.

According to CBS and Washington Post, Clarence Thomas was not specifically mentioned in text messages. However, Thomas is an ardent conservative who serves as the longest-serving Supreme Court member.

But Ginni Thomas had texted Meadows that she wanted Sidney Powell — the pro-Trump lawyer who had filed failed lawsuits challenging the 2020 results and was later sanctioned by a federal judge — to be “the lead and the face” of Trump’s legal team, the report said.

According to reports, the 29 text messages were among more than 2000 sent by Meadows to the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Riot perpetrated by Trump supporters.

CNBC reached George Terwilliger (an attorney representing Meadows) for comments on the text messages. An official for the Jan. 6-probe did not immediately respond to CNBC’s requests for comment.

After Clarence Thomas’s admission to the Supreme Court with an infected throat last Friday, the texts were released.

The court hasn’t provided an update on Thomas’ condition since SundayMultiple messages for comment were not returned by the company.
