DENVER (Reuters), – A jury in a federal court awarded $14 million Friday to a group of activists that sued Denver police for using excessive force against peaceful protesters following demonstrations regarding racial justice. The lawsuit was brought by twelve people who claimed the cops used excessive force against them during demonstrations about racial inequality.
