(Reuters) – Spotify Technology SA (NYSE 🙂 announced that its streaming service will be suspended in Russia on Friday in protest to Russia’s media law.

An “unprovoked attack by Moscow” that led to the closure of Russia’s audio streaming station, Audio Streaming Platform (ATSP), earlier in this month was what the company said.

Russia’s latest legislation now makes it illegal to disclose any incident that may discredit the Russian army.
