TOKYO (Reuters) – Singapore’s 3D Investment Partners was pleased to hear that Toshiba Corp (OTC) Corp’s shareholders opposed the Japanese conglomerate’s plan for separation, according to the fund on Friday.

According to the fund, it requested that Toshiba’s strategic review committee immediately examine all of the company’s options.

This statement was made just days after an extraordinary general assembly rejected competing proposals from Toshiba management. The other proposal, backed by activist shareholders had been defeated. It leaves the company uncertain about its future.
