(Reuters) – A glamour-packed Oscars red-carpet was the culmination of Hollywood’s return to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, following the dramatic changes made by COVID-19.

Following a reduced ceremony in a train station last season, Oscars are returning to their original venue. It will hold approximately 34 of its capacity, with about 2,500 guests.

Jamie Lee Curtis was among the first celebs to take the red carpet step in her neck-high Stella McCartney gown.

Curtis said that Betty White, a late movie and TV icon, will be honored during the ceremony. She died on December 31, just two weeks before her 100th birthday.

Curtis stated that she was wearing Stella McCartney because she’s an animal rights activist like Betty White. This was a great way to both walk the talk and practice the art of walking the walk.

Saniyya Sidney is a young actress that played Venus Williams’ tennis star in “King Richard”, an Oscar-nominated biopic. Sidney wore an Armani Prive gown with floral motifs by Armani Prive.

E! cable channel said, “We discussed boyfriends, older boyfriends.” About her interaction with Williams, the tennis legend. We talked about school, and what it was like growing up in Compton.

Following last year’s Union Station event that was smaller than usual due to pandemics, Sunday’s Oscars glitter brought plenty of pastels and bright gold splashes.

Jessica Chastain is a potential contender for the Best Actress statuette award for portraying American evangelist Tammy Faye. Lupita Nyong’o’s glittering golden dress was also a big hit with the audience.
