Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.40% -Breaking

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The Saudi Arabian close saw an additional 0.40%, bringing it to a 5-year peak.

Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co. (SE:) was the best performer of the session. It rose 7.76%, or 13.40 points, to close at 186.00. Jabal Omar Development Company, (SE:), gained 7.16% to close at 26,95. Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. was also up 6.83% to 30,50.

These were the worst performers of the session. Riyad REIT (SE:) fell 4.59%, or 0.52 point to trade at 10.82 by the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance, (SE:), declined 3.18% (or 1.05 points) to finish at 32.00. Zamil Industrial Investment Co. (SE:), was down 2.82% (or 0.75 points) to 25.80.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 141 percent to 82 percent, and ended the day unchanged at 13 percent.

Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co’s shares rose to their highest levels, increasing 7.76% or from 13.40 to 186.00.

The price of crude oil in May delivery rose 0.2% or 0.24 to $112.58 per barrel. Brent oil was unchanged at 0.00% for June delivery to $117.37 per barrel. The April Gold Futures contract dropped 0.23%, or 4.45, to trade at $1957.75 an troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unaffected by 0.11% from 4.12 to 3.75, and USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.01% to 3.75.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.4% to 98.84
