White House office seeks public opinion on crypto-climate implications -Breaking

An Executive Office of President of the United States called the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), and it began a study that sought to determine the potential for reducing energy consumption and climate change related to digital assets.

A presidential order signed by Joe Biden on March 9th, United States president Instructing federal agencies to investigate the implications of digital assets on six key areas — consumer and investor protection, financial stability, financial inclusion, responsible innovation, the United States’ global financial leadership and combating illicit financial activity.
