Japan PM will order govt to start work on inflation measures on Tuesday -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Japan’s Prime Minister will direct the government to prepare by Tuesday emergency measures to combat inflation caused by the Ukraine crisis.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishhida said Monday to Parliament that “the priority is prompt COVID-19 reserves funds use.”

A Komeito member, also a part of his ruling coalition asked him if he could answer a question about whether a new fiscal budget might be possible.

Kishida said that he will consider the opinions of the partners regarding these measures.
