(Reuters] – Kremlin spokesman Dmitri peskov said Monday to PBS that Russia would only use nuclear weapons if there was a “threat” to Russia’s existence – but not because of the conflict with Ukraine.

Peskov stated that any result of the Ukraine operation is “not a reason to use a nuclear weapons.” We have a security policy that clearly states that nuclear weapons can only be used when the country is at risk.
