Attorney John Eastman gestures as he speaks next to U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, as Trump supporters gather ahead of the president’s speech to contest the certification by the U.S. Congress of the results of the 2020 U.S. presidential election on the Ellipse in Washington, U.S, January 6, 2021.

An federal judge ruled that President Donald Trump may have violated the law when he tried to obstruct Congress from confirming President Joe Biden’s win in the Electoral College election on January 6, 2021.

In a court ruling, Judge David Carter stated that Trump’s plan to work with John Eastman would have ended Trump’s peaceful transition of power. This would have undermined American democracy and Constitution.

Carter stated in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California that “if the country doesn’t commit to investigating the responsible and seeking accountability for them,”

Judge’s harsh comments were made in a decision to order Eastman 101 documents be disclosed to the House Select Committee that is investigating Jan. 6 Capitol Riot and its events. Carter wrote that the committee shouldn’t receive 10 more documents because they are confidential.

This is important breaking news. Stay tuned for new updates.
