U.S. listed stocks XPengPremarket trading rose Monday following the Chinese maker of electric vehicles. reported a fourth-quarter lossThis was smaller than Wall Street expected.
Xpeng stated that it had lost $202 million (or $0.22) in quarter three on revenues of $1.34 billion. That was significantly better than expected: Seven Wall Street analysts polled by FactSet had expected an adjusted loss of $0.33 per share, on average.
XPeng produced a total 19,147 vehicles during January and February. That included several days off due to downtime for the Lunar New Year holiday in China.
It expects to sell between 33,500-34,000 units this quarter. This is a more than 15% increase over the first quarter 2021.
