Citi expects revenue in Brazil to grow 50% over the next 3 years -Breaking

SAO PAULO (Reuters). Citigroup Inc (NYSE 🙂 predicts Brazil’s revenue to increase by half over the next three year, said the local chief executive. Additionally, he stated Tuesday that there is still strong demand in 2022 for its advisory services regarding mergers and other acquisitions.

Marcelo Marangon said that it is unlikely the South American lender will return to retail banking in Brazil in the upcoming years. Itau Unibanco bought Citi Brazil’s retail operations in Brazil in 2016.
