LunaFi launches first gamified IDO
  • LunaFi’s Initial DEX Offer (IDO) includes a gamification feature.
  • The newly launched game is called “LunaFi Crash.”
  • LunaFi’s CEO George Porchester was enthusiastic about the launch.

LunaFi officially announces an Initial DEX Offering, (IDO), that features a gamification mechanism. LunaFi is an online sports betting platform, which was created by professional gamblers.

The game is called “LunaFi Crash” and it is a crypto-native that allows players to place bets in ETH and receive LFI in return. In this round-based game the LunaFi Rocket keeps moving up until it abruptly crashes.

Bets can be made in Ethereum and players have the option to choose when they want to cash out. They will receive a return on their wager if they correctly guess the launch date. This payment is made in LFI at TGE. The rocket will crash before the cashout is made. They’ll need to bet again.

George Porchester is CEO of LunaFi. He stated that their LunaFi Crash Game was the first Proof of Concept of the potential for a revolution in gambling using crypto.

It was fun for us to create our own IDO gamified. There is no better way than to show off our platform from the beginning.

It uses smart contracts. There is a $500,000 target to raise during the initial phase. Players deposit pure ETH. This phase launches on April 1st and will run for one week. On Lithium.finance, (BSC), and Starter.xyz will go live on Polygon. LFI staking and all funds of the IDO can be claimed on April 15th.

A second phase will also be released after initial distribution, once liquidity to Quickswap has been distributed. Players will be able to use ETH-LFI LP to get LFI at a discounted rate. This discount can be claimed after 5 days.

For crypto, the betting industry has been an exciting place to bet. Users can sign up on LunaFi to provide liquidity and take advantage of the house edge. The bets can be programmed using open smart contracts, decentralized Oracles and are therefore transparent in terms of their payouts.
