BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCECO (SE:) was the best performer of the session. It rose 7.07%, or 1.46 points, to close at 22.10. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance added 5.72%, or 1.14 points, to trade at 21.08. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co. (SE:), was up 5.33%, or 1.14 points, to 22.54 by late trade.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development(SE:) fell 4.29 percent or 0.52 point to trade at 11.60 by the closing. Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE) fell 2.68%, or 1.40 points, to finish at 50.80. National Industrialization Co. (SE) dropped 2.41% or 0.58 to 23.52.
Stocks in Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange rose more than those that were declining by 144 percent to 85 percent, while 8 was unchanged.
Crude oil fell 4.34%, or 4.60, to $101.36 per barrel for May delivery. Brent oil fell 4.71 or 4.30% to $104.78 per barrel in commodities trading. The April Gold Futures contract dropped 1.53%, or 29.60, to $1,910.20 an ounce.
EUR/SAR increased 1.28% from 4.17 to 4.17 while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.02% from 3.75.
