Formula One’s drivers plan to seek more feedback on the location of future races.

Many drivers decided not to race in the Saudi Arabian GP weekend following Friday’s attack on Jeddah.

According to some, the incident accelerated the desire of the drivers to talk about having greater influence over the policy.

Sky Sports News reports that the drivers have been scheduled to meet with F1 chiefs after the weekend’s events.

The militant attack against the Aramco oil plant will also be on the agenda.

F1 will provide more information about the security measures that helped protect the Grand Prix. However, the event’s future is still in question despite concerns from some drivers.

What makes drivers desire more information about races?

F1 determines the calendar. They are open to collaboration with each team and their stakeholders.

Many drivers believe they have an increasing role in the sport’s face and are carrying out the company’s message to the public.

Recent questions from drivers about Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Record and cancelling of the Russian Grand Prix due to their invasion in Ukraine have caused them discomfort.

Lewis Hamilton, Jeddah spoke out about how he had influenced these important issues. [to race]. I think we do have an opportunity to try — we are duty bound to try — and do what we can while we’re here.”

F1 made it a priority to increase driver engagement in its post-Bernie Ecclestone era.

Fan interaction via social media has grown significantly over the past five year thanks to digital and social media.

F1 will share with everyone involved a complete assessment of the events in Jeddah.

These meetings will take place prior to the Grand Prix in Melbourne Australia which takes place on April 10.
