UBS announces result of 2021 share buyback -Breaking

ZURICH (Reuters – UBS has spent 3.81 billion Swiss francs ($4.10 Billion) to repurchase its shares, equivalent to 6.49%. This was in connection with its 2021 buyback.

At the bank’s April 6 shareholder meeting, the cancellation of large numbers of repurchased shares is expected.

Under its most recent scheme, the lender intends to repurchase as much as $6 billion worth of shares. This is equivalent to approximately 8.52% of its total share capital.
