Polkadex Crosses Milestone by Announcing its Latest Addition ‘Thea’- Polkadex is the first DEX that was cross-chain-order book-based.
- A new innovative interoperability layer is now available under the name “Thea”.
- It is anticipated that Thea will make a significant improvement in the user experience.
Polkadex announces its new feature under the name “Thea”, a token bridge designed to be a seamless and trustless way to connect Polkadex and , promising to support blockchains in the future.
Following the Polkadex ethos of providing a CEX-like experience but in a noncustodial DEX, Thea’s developers said that the user interface will resemble the deposit and withdrawal functions on centralised exchanges.
As a comment to this announcement, Gautham J. (Polkadex CEO) said:
A DEX’s user experience is dependent on bringing liquidity to users in the same way they do with CEXes, without jeopardizing security. It shouldn’t be complex or expensive. Thea represents our dedication to user experience and bridging Ethereum.
Thea was revealed in an announcement. Thea will offer CEX-like functionality, in a noncustodial DEX. The user interface will be similar to the centralised exchange deposit and withdraw functions.
Thea is also being announced in a similar part. Unlike token bridges currently managed by centralised relayers (centralised relayers), Thea will be administered by Polkadex validators. They act as relayers via a multi-party Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm, or ECDSA technology.
Thea bridges are not controlled by a central point, as they operate from a decentralised network like the Polkadex.
Now, Thea can be expected to make significant improvements in both interoperability as well as user experience. It is expected to be easier, faster and more affordable than current bridges, considering this to be one of today’s main problems.
Thea was created to enable ERC-20 or ETH assets holders to have access to a non custodial order-book-exchange that supports high frequency trading, and support for 500,000 transactions every second.
Polkadex has announced that the addition is available now, and it will soon be uploaded to the mainnet.
