SWOOSH! DC Announces 200,000 Unique Batman NFTs in Cowl Collection
  • Warner Bros. Consumer Products announces the Bat Cowl Collection. Palm NFT Studio also announced it.
  • There are 200,000 3D-rendered Batman cowl nylon NFTs in the Collection.
  • The NFTs have practical purposes – such as providing holders with exclusive access to rewards and possible Web3 integration features.

On March 29, Warner Bros. Consumer Products – on behalf of DC – and Palm NFT Studio launched their latest project: The Bat Cowl Collection. This collection includes 200,000 3D-rendered Batman cowl NFTs. The designs draw influence from the 83 years of DC’s Batman.

The Bat Cowl Collection is more than just a collection of collectibles. This Collection provides access to an exclusive DC Universe fan community with many features. The Collection offers access to behind-the-scenes content and physical collectibles, select fan events, merch, and many other features.

Already, the Collection has a 2-year plan that aims to increase utility for Bat Cowl holders each 52 days. This includes expanded wallet capabilities and metaverse integration. Augmented Reality (AR) is also included in this roadmap.

Josh Hackbarth from Warner Bros., Head of NFT Commercial Development, stated that NFT allows Warner Bros. to communicate with its fans in novel and exciting ways. “The Bat Cowl Collection aims to redefine the NFT experience offering up unparalleled opportunities to one of the Studio’s most beloved franchises,” said Hackbarth.

We believe that the Bat Cowl Collection is the most fan-first, best-in class approach to developing NFTs. It will enable collectors to strengthen their connections with Batman and DC Universe, while also embracing their fandom within the expanding metaverse.
