Toyota’s US Deliveries Fall 23.5% in March -Breaking

Investing.com — Freitag, Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE 🙂 announced its US deliveries numbers, with US sales of 194,178 cars. This is a 23.5% decrease year-over-year.
The first quarter US sales by the company, 514,592, fell 14.7% from last year. But, sales of electrified cars for the quarter reached 132.938, which represents nearly 25.8%, an improvement from 22.9% in previous years.
Toyota sales fell 22.6% in March, but Lexus saw sales of 23,514 vehicles. That’s a drop of 29.1%.
“As we work through the ever-changing market dynamics, our customers can depend on our diverse lineup of sedans, trucks, utilities and electrified vehicles for their lifestyle,” stated Jack Hollis, senior vice president of automotive operations at Toyota Motor North America.
Toyota shares fell 0.3% on Friday.
