Rivian Automotive Inc. (RIVN), announced today it had produced 2,553 and delivered 1,227 vehicles during the first quarter. These numbers are consistent with the expectations of EV companies.

It produced 1,015 vehicles in total and shipped 920 units during 2021.

Company believes it’s well placed to meet its 25,000 production forecast, which was provided last month during Q4 earnings call.

The company received approximately 83K preorders for R1 from customers across Canada and the U.S. as of March 8th, 2021.

Rivian shares have fallen 59% since today.
