France stocks lower at close of trade; CAC 40 down 0.57% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index fell 0.51% at the Paris close.

Eurofins Scientific SE, which gained 3.34% (or 3.18 points) to close at 98.40. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (PA) gained 1.96%, or 0.38 points, to reach 19.77 Danone Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 1.88%, or 0.95 points, to 51.60

They were also the session’s worst performers Alstom SA (PA:) fell by 2.67%, or 0.54 point to close at 19.70 Veolia Environnement VE SA, (PA:), declined 2.5% or 0.71 to finish at 27.12. Societe Generale SA (PA) fell 1.99%, or 0.44 points, to 21.48

Eurofins Scientific SE rose 3.4% to 98.40 and Gaztransport et Technonigaz SA (PA) rose 3.28%, settling at 110.10. Faurecia (PA) closed at 22.65 with a gain of 2.26%

Atos SE(PA:), which fell 3.59% to 22,02 in late trading, JC Decaux SA [PA:] which dropped 3.12% to settle to 19.55, and Solutions 30 SE/PA: which declined 2.74% to 7.17 by the close.

By 315 to 229. 87 was unchanged.

Carrefour SA shares rose to 3-year highs (PA:), an increase of 1.96%, or 0.38 to 19.77. Atos SE (PA) shares fell to 5 year lows, down 3.59% (0.82 to 22.02. Gaztransport et Technigaz SA shares (PA:), rose to new all-time highs, up 3.28% (3.50 to 110). Shares of JC Decaux SA(PA:) dropped to 52-week lowests, losing 3.12% (or 0.63 to 19.55).

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0.00%, a 52-week record.

For June delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.59% to $1.934.50 an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil delivery for May dropped 0.82%, or 0.79, to $95.44 per barrel. The June Brent oil contract, however, fell 1.02%, or 1.03, to trade at $100.04 per barrel.

EUR/USD was unaffected by 0.15%, 1.09 and EUR/GBP unaffected at 0.02 to 0.83.

At 99.80, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.19%.
