Elon Musk says Tesla is aiming to start Optimus production next year

Elon Musk is the founder and chief executive officer of Tesla Motors. He spoke during a media tour at the Tesla Gigafactory which produces batteries for the electric vehiclemaker in Sparks (Nevada).

Musk spoke in a confident tone and suggested the robot would “transform” the world to an even greater degree than Tesla’s cars. He said, “It might be difficult to imagine it.”
AI has been called a danger to the human race and Musk claimed in 2018 AI could be a possible threat. AI is more dangerous that nuclear weapons.He said that Optimus will continue to develop and everyone would make it safe. “No Terminator stuff and that type of thing.”
He said that Tesla designed the robot for humans so they could run from it or take it down.
Musk stated when Tesla first revealed its robot that it would use the same chipsets and sensors as their cars for autonomous driving features. Musk claims it is 5 feet 8 inches tall and includes a screen above the head that provides useful information.
Many believed the bot to be a recruitment tool for Tesla’s AI. However, Musk clarified in January that this was not true. the robot is actually a top priority for new product development this year.
Musk revealed that the robot was “more significant than the car business” at the time. Optimus seems to be a serious venture, as Musk now speaks of production by 2023.
Musk is famous for his showmanship. In which he announced that Tesla was working on innovative products planned for the future, he energized backers such as customers and investors. Sometimes, product launches are not on schedule.
For example, in an April “Autonomy Day”, Musk stated that the company will have 1,000,000 autonomous robots. Musk stated that the company will have one million autonomous robots by 2019.robotaxis” On the road by 2020. These robotaxis can’t be found.
