(Reuters] – Fox News reporter who suffered injuries in Ukraine’s attack that claimed two of his coworkers was killed said Thursday that he feels “pretty damn fortunate” to have survived.

Benjamin Hall was traveling in a vehicle along Fox News’ Pierre Zakrzewski as well as Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova, when the vehicle was struck by fire close to Kyiv. Kuvshynova (24), and Zakrzewski (55) were both killed.

To sum it all, half of my leg is gone and one foot has been lost. Hall stated that one hand was being assembled, the other eye is not working and his hearing is very impaired in a Twitter post (NYSE:). He also posted a picture of him on a stretcher wearing an eye patch.

Hall stated, “But all things considered I feel pretty damn fortunate to be here – and it’s the people who got my here who are incredible!

Hall dedicated his tributes to his fallen coworkers in an earlier tweet.

Zakrzewski is a former war-zone photographer and had previously covered numerous conflicts for Fox News. He also worked in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Based in London, Zakrzewski had been in Ukraine for the past two years.

Kuvshynova was helping Fox crews navigate Kyiv, the area surrounding it. She also collected information and spoke with sources.
