WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg announced that the government will announce record fines to unruly passengers on airlines.

Buttigieg stated that “the FAA is really getting ready for record fines upon people” who are unruly while flying on planes.

Buttigieg said that the mandate of the Biden administration to require masks in airplanes and public transport would either be canceled or renewed by April 18. All of us want to be able to live with fewer restrictions. Buttigieg stated that we just have to reach a safe place to do so.
