Pilots are being notified that the PW777 plane was delayed in returning to active service. The message reads, “The May flight schedule will be reconfigured to accommodate this fact.”

United owns more than 50 777s that are powered by Pratt & Whitney engines. United stated in the note that they were “being removed” from the schedule until May 12, and taken from international/Hawaii routes by May 25, United added.
