BOJ’s Kuroda warns of uncertain economic fallout from Ukraine crisis -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Bank of Japan Governor Haruhikokuroda warned Monday that “very high uncertainty,” regarding the potential impact of the Ukraine crisis on Japan’s economy via market movements and higher commodity prices, was present.

Kuroda spoke at the quarterly meeting of branch managers from the central bank, saying that Japan’s economic recovery is a trend, but there are signs of weakness.
