NHTSA has posted a recall notice on their website for certain Mack long-range battery Mack 2023 trucks. The recall states that “During certain driving maneuvers, the power steering system may lose pressure, causing a loss of power steering assist.”

Mack Trucks acknowledged receiving the notification. At this point, however, there is no way to remedy the situation. Notification letters to owners are scheduled for mailing on May 30, 2022.

Swedish company AB Volvo owns Mack Truck (OTC).
