Wall St opens lower as surging yields hit growth stocks -Breaking

REUTERS/Eric Thayer/File Photograph(Reuters] – U.S. Stock Indexes were lower in Monday’s opening, dragged down with high-growth stocks, as Treasury yields rose, ahead Tuesday’s inflation data, which could be supportive of a more hawkish stance at the Federal Reserve.
At the open, it fell to 3463.22, or 90.9 points.
The fell 25.6 points, or 0.57%, at the open to 4462.64, while the dropped 163.7 points, or 1.19%, to 13547.293 at the opening bell.
