Bored Apes to Feature in ‘The Degen Trilogy’ Movie Introduced by Coinbase -Breaking

Bored Ape Yacht Club is everywhere – people are walking around in BAYC jumpers, a Bored Ape-themed restaurant recently opened in the U.S, and ApeCoin, along with its DAO, has been immensely popular. It’s now that the NFT movie is on the big screen.
While Coinbase (NASDAQ:) temporarily ditched its initially announced plans to launch an NFT marketplace half a year ago, the U.S.’s largest cryptocurrency exchange has decided to join forces with BAYC to create an interactive, three-part movie called the ‘Degen Trilogy.’
Bored Ape NFT owners can link their wallets in order to cast their animals for the movie. Users must connect to Coinbase to do this. Then, the Bored Ape NFT holders who are selected to take part in the film will be compensated with $10,000 in ApeCoin.
More details should soon become available on the project’s web page: degentrilogy.com.
“We are dedicated to creating and supporting content projects that speak directly to our community and sustaining the culture of web3 innovation,”
said William Swann, Coinbase’s director of entertainment and culture marketing.
“As we aim to bring the next billion people into the crypto economy, we firmly believe that this interactive film series will act as a catalyst to serve that mission and help audiences understand the collaborative nature of Web 3.0.”
