Numerous people were shot. a New York City subway station during rush hour on Tuesday, and several undetonated devices were found, officials said.

Sources in law enforcement told NBC New York that a man wearing clothing similar to MTA was seen throwing a weapon at the Brooklyn station.

According to sources, police are looking for a man about 5’5″ and 180 pounds, wearing a gas mask. He is believed to have killed at least five people.

Sources said that some of the injured passengers jumped on trains to escape.

Commuters in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park were urged not to use 36th Street or Fourth Avenue due to “an investigation” and “emergency vehicle delays and other factors in the area.” the NYPD said in a statement.
