Tesla Begins Pre-Orders for Roadster; Conveniently Leaves out Final Price Tag -Breaking
Tesla (NASDAQ:) has quietly continued taking pre-orders for the company’s next-generation Roadster sports car over the weekend. In December 2021, the automaker closed reservations for Founders Series models. The page conveniently does not include the cost of the vehicle. Customers who wish to reserve the car are required to immediately pay $5,000. The remaining $45,000 must be received within ten working days. Initial pricing for a Tesla Roadster was $200,000 and for Founders Series Signature versions, $250,000
Tesla claims that the car can still go from 0-60 mph in around 1.9 seconds to 0-100 at a speed of just over 4 seconds. It also has a top speed of up to 250 mph. Tesla also wants the car to travel over 600 miles per charge. You can seat four in the car and it comes with a roof.
After the Cybertruck, Tesla Roadster production will begin a bit later in 2023.
