France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.07% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At Paris’ close, the gained 0.7% while the index gained 0.7%.

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV / AS: were the top performers in the session. They rose 1.51%, or 1.05 points, to trade at 70.78 by the closing. Engie SA (EPA) gained 1.43%, or 0.16 points, to close at 11.61 Alstom SA (EPA:), was 0.26 points higher at 20.98, up 1.25% in late trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:) dropped 2.49% or 4.90 point to trade at 192.25 by the close. Worldline SA (EPA:) fell 1.84%, or 0.65 points, to finish at 34.61 Danone SA (EPA) fell 1.08%, or 0.56 points, to 51.37.

CGG SA, whose performance on the SBF 120 was tops were a rise of 4.53% to 1.11 Biomerieux SA (EPA :), which rose 3.43% to settle in 96.40; and Electricite de France SA EPA : which gained 2.35%, to close at 8.53.

Atos SE shares (EPA:), fell to their 5-year lowest point, falling 4.05% (0.89 to 21.07). Ubisoft Entertainment shares (EPA:), fell to five-year lows, losing 3.94% (1.55 to 37.77).

The June delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.8%, or 3.60, to $1979.70 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 2.44% to reach $103.05/barrel in May, and the June Brent Oil contract, which rose 2.80% to trade at $107.57/barrel.

EUR/USD rose 0.53% from 1.09 to 1.09 while EUR/GBP was unchanged at 0.17% from 0.83.
