SEOUL (Reuters) – Hyundai Motor Co. plans to produce electric vehicles in the United States’ Montgomery production line. It is the South Korean automaker’s first EV-produced vehicle in America, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama stated on Tuesday.

Hyundai stated that it will invest $300 million in the construction of the Electric Genesis GV 70, and the hybrid Santa Fe at the U.S. manufacturing facility.
