WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury secretary Janet Yellen stated that it will be “a long while,” if not ever before the U.S. Dollar is replaced as the main reserve currency of the global economy.

The strength of the U.S. system, economy and financial systems are fundamental factors in dollar’s dominance, Yellen explained at an Atlantic Council think-tank event.
