(Reuters) – The Russian government will discuss Thursday giving subsidy to airports and airlines to assist them in coping with economic damage from western sanctions. Interfax news agency reported.

Interfax reported that airlines will be eligible for compensation for the loss of revenue resulting from flight cancellations. The state will also support 11 Russian airports. Maintenance is made more difficult by the fact that Russian airlines are not allowed to receive spare parts.
