Methanol Chemicals Company, (TADAWUL) was the best performer of the session. It rose 5.39% or 2.45 to trade at 47.90 by the close. Meanwhile, Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (TADAWUL:) added 4.62% or 1.55 points to end at 35.10 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:) was up 4.56% or 2.10 points to 48.20 in late trade.
Saudi Arabian Mining Company, (TADAWUL) was the worst performer of the session. It lost 5.41% or 8.00 point to trade at 140.00 by the closing. International Company for Water and Power Projects, (ACWA Power:) dropped 3.24% to finish at 137.40. Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC(TADAWUL.:) decreased 3.24% to 20.90.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpassing advancing stock by 124 percent to 100, while 11 ended the same.
Methanol Chemicals Company’s shares (TADAWUL) reached all-time highs. They rose by 5.39%, or 2.45 to47.90.
May’s crude oil delivery saw an increase of 1.42%, or 1.43 to $102.03 per barrel. Brent oil, which is available for June delivery, rose by 1.76 or 1.56 to $106.40 a bar. Meanwhile, the June Gold Futures contract saw a 0.10% increase or 1.90, trading at $1,978.00 an ounce.
EUR/SAR remained unchanged at 0.06 to 4.06 while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.01% and 3.75.
At 100.36, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.07%.
