Dogecoin Explores Offline Transactions with StarlinkTwo of Elon Musk’s favorites may soon join forces to start the new era of offline crypto transactions.
A sneak peak of RadioDoge was shared by the Foundation. It could allow offline Dogecoin transfer if it is combined with Starlink technology.
Two key developers at Dogecoin Foundation are running the new communication network project. Their goal is to provide a solution for payment that will be available to 1.7 billion people who don’t have access or can use banking services. This was partly due to the poor internet connectivity.
Yes! Dogecoin transactions without the need for internet access This is possible thanks to the Radio Doge project, which uses radio technology and the Starlink satellite network worldwide to allow access to #Dogecoin to people who are not connected to the internet. @elonmusk pic.twitter.com/Z7ymzt9GSI

RadioDoge is a project created by Timothy Stebbing (Michi Lumin) and Michi Levy. It uses radio HF/LoRaWAN technology in combination with global Starlink satellite networks to facilitate Dogecoin transactions.
Since a while, the team has been exploring new technology. They also successfully tested the Libdogecoin programming library to enable Dogecoin transactions and settled the first “regional hub” in Colorado, necessary to provide testing ground for the RadioDoge.
According to reports, the project creators intend to conduct an offline test of Dogecoin’s first transaction. Transfers should occur between two objects that are 150 miles from one another. It will also transmit via Starlink satellite network.
“While there is still a long way to go, these are exciting early steps toward realizing the goal of making Dogecoin an unstoppable financial vehicle, one which will empower financial freedom from power structures and provide a means of exchange for future generations”, say RadioDoge project creators.
Elon Musk is a DOGE-lover, Starlink CEO, but has yet to tweet about the RadioDoge Initiative.
Earlier this month, his recent almost $2.4 billion investment in Twitter’s shares was disclosed. Musk previously shared thoughts with his 81 million Twitter followers regarding creating a social network that could accept Dogecoin payment. Shortly after, he proposed DOGE payments for consideration in the Twitter (NYSE.) Blue subscription service.
Elon Musk also offered $54.20 per share to purchase all outstanding Twitter common stock. Twitter’s board of directors is currently reviewing his proposal.
