Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

(TYO) added 6.77%, or 192.00 point to reach 3,030.00 Shionogi & Co., Ltd. In late trade, (TYO) was up 5.2% or 365.00 point to 6,976.00

These were the worst performers of the session. Recruit Holdings Co Ltd (TYO) fell by 2.72%, or 147.00 point to trade at 5,250.00 close. Olympus Corp. (TYO): The decline of 2.04% (50.00 points) has brought the total to 2,406.00 Concordia Financial Group Ltd (TYO:), was at 459.00, down 1.08%.
