Multiverse Computing is a Canadian quantum computing company with offices in Canada, Spain and the Bank of Canada. They have partnered to simulate how cryptocurrency adoption might progress as a method of payment.

Multiverse Computing will be announcing its plans on Thursday. It used the equipment in a Proof-of-Concept project it did with Bank of Canada. This allowed for examples of non-financial companies adopting cryptocurrency. Quantum simulations were conducted using scenarios with between 8 and 10 financial networks that could support more than 1.2 billion possible configurations.
