Mastercard (NYSE) has filed 15 trademarks related to metaverse and NFT.

Mastercard, a multinational payments company, filed 15 NFT/metaverse trademark applications. This joins the ranks of Visa (NYSE:) competitors. American Express (NYSE:), who took similar actions recently.

Notable applications include the ones for an online market for digital goods and virtual reality events and communities as well as Mastercard payment processing for Metaverse. The firm also plans to virtual trademark the Priceless slogan through tokenized text and audio, as well as video.
