Mastercard (NYSE) has filed 15 trademarks related to metaverse and NFT.

Mastercard is a multinational payment giant that filed 15 NFT applications and metaverse trademarks. It joins Visa (NYSE) and other competitors. American Express (NYSE:), who took similar actions recently.

Some notable applications are for an online marketplace to sell digital products, for virtual reality events, communities and for Mastercard payment processing within the Metaverse. The firm also plans to virtual trademark the Priceless slogan through tokenized text and audio, as well as video.
