J.B. Hunt Reports Q1 Beat, Revenue Up 33% -Breaking

J.B. Hunt Transport Services reported Q1 results. EPS was $2.29, which is better than Street estimates of $1.94.
The revenue grew by 33% over the year to $3.49 Billion, surpassing the Street estimate at $3.28 Billion. All segments contributed to this growth.
Truckload (JBT) and Integrated Capacity Solutions™ (ICS) segment revenues rose 77% and 29% year-over-year, respectively. Intermodal (JBI), revenue increased 36% due to an 28% rise in revenue per loaded and a 7 percent increase in load volumes. Dedicated Contract Services® (DCS®) segment revenue rose 28% due to a 20% increase in average revenue-producing trucks and a 6% increase in fleet productivity. Final Mile Services® (FMS) revenue grew 8% year-over-year.
After the announcement, JBHT shares rose 1.6%. The earnings print showed that they were 16% lower year-to-date.
