(Reuters) -Johnson & Johnson said on Monday it had agreed to pay $99 million to settle opioid-related claims by the state of West Virginia and its subdivisions.
This settlement ends the ongoing Kanawha County Circuit Court trial against Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. that started earlier in this month. Teva Pharmaceuticals industries Ltd. in West Virginia remains under investigation. AbbVie Inc (NYSE)’s Allergan
J&J (NYSE:) did not admit liability or wrongdoing in the settlement, the company said.
