WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department reached a settlement. United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE 🙂 will resolve discrimination allegations against the company regarding immigration, said the agency on Monday.

The department stated in Monday’s statement that the settlement resolved its claims that UPS had violated the Immigration and Nationality act when it requested additional documentation to support the claim that the worker was authorized to work. This request came after sufficient evidence from the worker.
