New York Times names Joseph Kahn new executive editor -Breaking

(Reuters] – The New York Times Co appointed Joseph Kahn to the position of executive editor Tuesday. The company is pursuing a digital-based and subscription-oriented strategy. It has recently been bolstered with acquisitions.
Since September 2016, Kahn has been Times managing editor, the second highest title in the newsroom. He succeeds Dean Baquet.
